Kahalgaon railway station, one of the oldest station of Bihar, serves the Hawrah-Kiqel loop-Line. The city is situated on the broad-gauge Loop Line of Eastern Railway. From Kahalgaon regular  trains are passing for Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati and other part of country.
